The Club Song!
To be sung to the tune of, The Road to Gundagai.

The current song has not changed alot from the original PHOS chant "Plympton Dinky Di". With PHOSs change from the Panthers to the Phantoms in the 1980s, club legend Jim Jackaman penned the new lyrics that have been belted out on many a joyous occassion.

Always to be sung with spirit and passion! Wheather it be after a hard fought victory, in celebration of just being a Phantom or for no reason other than hearing the sound of your own voice.
And it goes a little somethin' like this…

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRREEEEE WE FIT,
ARE WE TOUGH,
ARE WE STRONG WHEN THINGS GET ROUGH,

WE ARE THE PHANTOMS, THROUGH AND THROUGH!

IN ANY KIND OF WEATHER,
AS LONG AS WE'RE TOGETHER,

WE'LL FIGHT FOR THE GOLD AND BLUE!

ARE WE FIT,
ARE WE TOUGH,
ARE WE STRONG WHEN THINGS GET ROUGH,

WE ARE THE PHANTOMS, THROUGH AND THROUGH!

Club stallwarts Boggy and Stan give an example of the correct lip movement and intensity in which the song should be sung!

(notice the light reflecting off the back of Boggy's mouth, purists would say it doesnt get much better than this)

As the website progresses we will try and get a sound file attached so you can hear it in all its glory as well.
